Arctic glass igloo resort in Finland: Our compact igloos offer immersive experience ideally for 2 people. Igloos are located on the shores of lake Ranua, ideal for experiencing stunning nature phenomenon such as the Northern lights and mid-summer nightless night in Finnish Lapland
Regular glass igloos were originally designed for experiencing nature phenomenon such as the aurora borealis and midnight sun through their large scenic windows.
Jump aboard an igloo boat and experience Lapland’s year-round natural phenomena – such as the Northern Lights – closer than ever before.
During summer, AuroraHut glass igloo uses its own electric engine to move around lake Ranua. We offer an experience package that allows you to enjoy an independent igloo adventure on the lake, complete with a campfire spot and firewood. Our instructional video will help you steer the igloo, and our staff is happy to assist you if needed.
Notice! Strong winds in summer can limit movement
AuroraHut glass igloo lets you enjoy the surrounding nature at maximum and with clear conscience.
AuroraHut is a green accommodation option that leaves the surrounding nature untouched both during and after your stay.
Normal, stationary glass igloos are often thought of primarily as winter-time accommodation options. However, floating AuroraHut glass igloo offers the guest the opportunity for spectacular nature experiences all year round.
During the winter, igloos are warm and cozy to stay.
During summertime, the large window should be covered during the day due to direct sunlight. The igloos can become quite warm during the daytime, but they cool down to a comfortable temperature by the evening, making them pleasant for sleeping. You can also open the curtains by the evening to see the tones of sunset.
